FT187R Super-Duty Rear Mount Flex Goal - Product Specification

1. GOAL DESIGN - Rim shall be of a flexible type so as to absorb the shock of player contact. Spring action shall be provided by two heavy-duty wire springs. Netlock system shall be of a continuous type so as to reduce netlock breakage common with individually welded netlocks. The rim shall be of an institutional quality with all structural components being no less than 3/16" thick. The assembly shall consist of an official sized 5/8" high strength steel ring and be supported by a 3/16" x 1 ½" rim support that is welded around 60% of the bottom ring. A single pivot pin must be a minimum ½" diameter CF1045 and be welded at final assembly to avoid unsafe accidental disassembly. Rims with non-welded threaded pivot devices are not an acceptable equal. A steel coverplate must enclose all internal mechanisms. Rim shall be punched to attach on any standard rear mount backboard, have an orange powdercoat finish and include a heavy-duty nylon net. Mounting hardware shall also be included. Rim shall be made in the USA, carry a 2-Year Superior Warranty and weigh approximately 25#.
